Wir befinden uns im Krieg der Sterne

In Kanada. Aber nicht nur da. Der Krieg hat seine eigene Sprache, seine eigenen Parolen und Erkennungszeichen.

Sage mir, welches Pronomen Du benutzt und ich sage Dir, ob Du mein Feind bist. Du musst ein gendergerechtes Pronomen verwenden. Sonst bist du mein Feind. Was hat es damit auf sich?

Warum ist es neuerdings in Kanada strafbar, sie nicht zu verwenden? Es gibt Menschen, die sich nicht eindeutig einem der beiden Geschlechter zuordnen können. Sie können sich allerdings auch keiner Gruppenbezeichnung zuordnen. Manche nennen sie launig „Buchstabenmenschen“, weil sich die, die sich nicht festlegen können, selbst mit einer lockeren Reihung von Buchstaben als „LGBTTQ“ bezeichnen – aber da bin ich womöglich nicht mehr auf dem neuesten Stand: Die Liste ist mal länger, mal kürzer, mal ist ein Q dabei, mal nicht, mal ein +, mal nicht. Auch die Reihenfolge ändert sich. Eigentlich ist es überhaupt keine Gruppe, keine klar erfassbare „community“, über die man sagen könnte, dass sie gemeinsame Interessen hätten. Im Gegenteil: Sie sind sich untereinander überhaupt nicht grün.

Grün sind jedoch ihre Fürsprecher – politisch gesehen. Viele sind rot. Wenn auch keiner genau sagen kann, wer diese LGBTTIler sind, wie man sie korrekt nennen soll und was sie überhaupt wollen, so kann man immerhin ihre Gegner klar ausmachen: Das sind böse, transphobe Menschen; Finsterlinge, die diese Minderheiten diskriminieren, marginalisieren, unterdrücken und ihnen – das wird ernsthaft so gesagt – ihre „Menschlichkeit“, ihre „Würde“ und ihre „Existenzberechtigung“ absprechen. Kurz: Es sind Schwerverbrecher.

Deshalb muss der Kampf gegen Transphobie mit aller Härte geführt werden. Deshalb drohen entsprechende Strafen. In Kanada gibt es neuerdings „human rights tribunals“, also Menschenrechtstribunale. Wer vor ein solches Tribunal gestellt wird, muss fürchten, dass ihm die Existenzberechtigung abgesprochen wird, dass er aus der Gemeinschaft ausgestoßen und in seiner beruflichen Existenz vernichtet wird. Solche Fälle gibt es bereits. Nun geht es Jordan Peterson an den Kragen, der internationalen Ruhm und eine riesige Anhängerschaft sowohl unter Konservativen als auch unter Liberalen hat – und als besonders tragische Ironie: Auch und gerade unter den LGBTTIlern.

 

Er weigert sich, die ausgedachten Worte auszusprechen!

Jordan Peterson hatte das neue Gesetz von Anfang an kritisiert – und zwar in ungewöhnlicher Deutlichkeit. In diesem Video sieht man es ab Minute 17:00: Wenn er verurteilt würde, würde er nicht zahlen, wenn er ins Gefängnis müsste, würde er in den Hungerstreik treten. Nein, er wird diese Worte nicht gebrauchen: „I am not going to use the words other people require me to use.“ Das Gesetzt heißt Bill C16. Eine großartige Neuigkeit – „great news“ – nannte es der „liberale“ kanadische Premierminister Justin Trudeau, als die Vorlage den Senat passiert hatte, und fügte der frohen Botschaft ein neckisches „#LoveisLove“ hinzu. Denn ab nun war es illegal, jemanden aufgrund seiner Gender-Identität oder der entsprechenden Erscheinungsform zu diskriminieren: „Making it illegal to discriminate based on gender identity or expression.“

Das ist neu. Es heißt nicht – wie womöglich manche wohlmeinend glauben –, dass man niemanden wegen seines Geschlechts benachteiligen darf. Das war einmal. Die Zeiten sind vorbei. Von „Geschlecht“ (Sex) ist nicht mehr die Rede, sondern von Gender-Identität und ihren Erscheinungsformen. Eine Gender-Identität gibt man sich selbst (heute fühle ich mich irgendwie als Frau) und bringt diese selbst gewählte Identität beispielsweise mit dem Einsatz eines Lippenstifts zum Ausdruck. Wer „fluid“ ist – also mal männlich, mal weiblich im fließenden Wechsel –, macht das durch entsprechende Armreifen deutlich.

Machen Sie nicht den Fehler, dies als Kuriositäten abzutun, denen man mit Humor und Gelassenheit begegnen sollte. Es handelt sich um Repressionen, die mit der ganzen Wucht der Staatsmacht und mit unkontrolliertem Hass seitens der Krieger für soziale Gerechtigkeit (social justice warrios) brutal durchgesetzt werden. Es ist kein Scherz.

Dass die Strafen unverhältnismäßig hart und die Masken der Zivilisation gefallen sind, hat sich womöglich schon herumgesprochen. Sehen Sie sich ab Minute 0:40 das Video an, das bereits auf der Achse veröffentlicht war. Da sehen sie, was das für Kämpfer sind, die sensiblen Umgang und Respekt einfordern und sich nun zusammen mit ihrem Premierminister über Bill C16 freuen: Aufgebracht schreien sie Jordan Peterson als „transphobic peace of shit“ nieder. Tamara Wernli sieht das als schlimmes Beispiel dafür, wie respektlos Studenten heutzutage sind – mehr noch: Es ist ein Beispiel für das Auftreten der Gender-Sturmtruppen.

Vielleicht wundert sich jemand. Es handelt sich bei dieser Trans-Comunity um eine verschwindend kleine Minderheit. Warum macht man ausgerechnet um die paar Leute so ein großes Theater? Um die geht es gar nicht. Die Betroffenen wollen die Sprachvorschriften, die nun zu ihrem angeblichen Gunsten durchgesetzt werden, überhaupt nicht. Sie unterstützen Jordan Peterson in seinem Widerstand. Jordan Peterson ist Psychologe, er kennt solcher Fälle und erhält überwältigende Zustimmung aus der Comunity (die, wie gesagt, gar keine ist). Als Beispiel habe ich ein Video herausgesucht, das schon im Titel alles verrät: „I’m Trans, and I Love Jordan Peterson“.

 

Sprache als Verletzung von Menschenrechten

Dennoch. Ihm wird vorgeworfen, dass er mit seiner Weigerung, genderneutrale Pronomen zu verwenden, die Universität unsicher mache, dass er das Wohlbefinden der „students“ (ich verwende hier den englischen Ausdruck, weil der gendergerechte deutsche Ausdruck noch in Arbeit ist) gefährde und dass er diese „students“ – das wird ernsthaft so vorgetragen – „missbrauche“. So wird es öffentlich in einer Talkshow gesagt. Dazu wird live eine Transperson zugeschaltet, die sich allerdings für Jordan Peterson ausspricht – egal. Die Vorwürfe bleiben: Jordan Peterson begeht Verletzungen von Menschenrechten und Missbrauch (ab Minute 16:20).

Diskriminierung gibt es sowieso nur in der Sprache (und auch da nicht). Es geht darum, Menschen zu bestrafen, ihnen zu schaden, sie zu beschuldigen und zu verleumden. Es geht darum, etwas zu verlangen, das überhaupt nicht geleistet werden kann: Die Kanadier sollen ihren Sprachgebrauch ändern. Alle. Bei jeder Gelegenheit. Denn ihr bisheriger Sprachgebrauch stellt eine Diskriminierung dar. So sehen es die „Kämpfer für soziale Gerechtigkeit“. Es ist ein ungeheuerlicher Gedanke.

Doch nun wird deutlich, warum der Sprache so große Bedeutung zukommt. Die Diskriminierung von Transpersonen zeigt sich an der Art, wie über sie geredet wird. Sonst nicht. Wo denn auch? Eine Diskriminierung in der Sprache kann sich allerdings bei jeder Gelegenheit ergeben. Jordan Peterson will auf die Frage, die eine weiblich klingende Stimme gestellt hat, antworten, wird dabei unterbrochen und sagt genervt: „Let me talk to her“ – also: Lass mich doch mal mit ihr reden. Darauf fährt ihm diese weiblich klingende Stimme über den Mund und befiehlt: „Don’t call me that“: Nennen Sie mich nicht so. Nicht wie? Er soll sie nicht als „her“ bezeichnen, nicht als „sie“.

Sondern? Das dürfen sich die LGBTTIler aussuchen. Ab Minute 2:25 wird in diesem Video eine kleine, vorläufige Liste eingeblendet: ze/zim/hir/em/per … Nur eine vorläufige Liste, wie gesagt. Es gibt noch mehr Möglichkeiten. Unzählige. Jordan Peterson will einwenden, dass er sich die nicht alle merken kann. Das lassen sie ihm nicht durchgehen: Er könne sich in seinem Handy Notizen machen. Als Jordan Peterson das ablehnt, wird ihm vorgeworfen, dass er faul ist. Hier wird angestrengt ein Feindbild aufgebaut. Der Feind steht rechts. Der Feldzug der Advokaten der LGBTTLIler ist Teil des Kampfes gegen Rechts. Wer nicht für #LoveisLove ist, gilt als Nazi. An der Sprache kann man sie erkennen.

Auch Jordan Peterson wird in die rechte Ecke geschoben. Die „Kämpfer für soziale Gerechtigkeit“ versuchen es jedenfalls. So soll er sich dafür rechtfertigen, dass so viele „Nazis“ auf seiner Seite stehen. Also muss er auch einer von ihnen sein. Das ist absurd. Wenn man sich seine Videos zum Thema Persönlichkeit oder die über die Schrecken totalitärer Systeme ansieht (es gibt dermaßen viel von ihm Netz, ich weiß nicht, wo ich anfangen soll, Empfehlungen auszusprechen), erfährt man, was einen Menschen dazu bringt, sich wie ein Auschwitz-Wärter zu verhalten und wie man diese Entwicklung verhindern kann. Da könnten die schreienden „students“ noch was lernen.

Einen Krieg der Sterne haben wir bei uns nicht? Doch, doch. Die kleinen Sterne haben wir inzwischen auch, liebe Leser*innen, das ist Ihnen vielleicht schon aufgefallen und Sie haben vielleicht auch schon bemerkt, wer sie nutzt und wer nicht. Wer sie nicht benutzt, ist rechts. Das ist leicht zu erkennen. Der Ton wird schärfer. Die Strafen werden härter.
